The Zhu lab focused research on hematopoiesis and blood malignancies. Using hematopoietic system as a model, his lab combined single-cell multi-omics techniques and bioinformatics to study the genomic and epigenomic regulatory networks underlying cell fate choice, lineage differentiation and aberrant hematopoiesis. 21 publications as co-corresponding author or first author in high-impact journals ( e.g., Blood, Cell Stem Cell, Immunity, Nature Cell Biology).
