Yuxuan Liu received her Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from the University of Texas at Dallas, while working in the laboraoty of Dr. Michael Q. Zhang. Dr. Liu's doctoral work focused on studying transcriptional regulation using bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing. She then joined the laboratory of Dr. Jian Xu at UT Southwestern Medical Center as a postdoctoral fellow, where she applied computational biology to investigate epigenetic regulation in blood cancers. Dr. Liu's research interests include dissecting enhancer function and regulation in blood cancers and employing computational and multi-omic approaches to understand the initiation and progression of blood cancers.
