PI, National Key Laboratory of Blood Science
Focusing on the "regulatory mechanisms of megakaryocyte fate determination and platelet regeneration and application," I have achieved multiple original findings: uncovering the endothelial origin of megakaryocytes and discovering their functional heterogeneity; revealing key regulatory mechanisms of megakaryocyte/platelet generation and establishing efficient regeneration strategies; identifying the novel function of platelets as immune sensors and demonstrating the high repair potential of regenerated platelets. As the first or corresponding author, I have published these findings in journals such as Cell Stem Cell, Nature Immunology (cover story), EBioMedicine (cover story), and Cell Reports Medicine, and has been granted five national invention patents. The research papers have been featured in commentaries by Cell Stem Cell and EBioMedicine, recommended by F1000, and widely cited by journals such as Cell and Science. The achievements have twice been selected as one of the "Top Ten Advances in Hematology Research in China." I have also been honored with titles such as Tianjin Young Medical Innovator.
