血液学家,中国工程院院士,中国医学科学院学术咨询委员会学部委员,北京协和医学院首批长聘教授,干细胞与再生医学系创始主任。

深耕血液学和再生医学研究40年,针对放化疗、骨髓移植或严重核辐射损伤所致造血障碍难题,聚焦造血干细胞,取得系列原创发现:创立“干细胞效能”学说,揭示干细胞效能与失能机制;提出“血液生态”概念,制定血液生态重建新策略并获临床验证;引领造血干细胞治疗从个体化移植向工程化产品方向发展。主持国家重大科研和人才项目18项,发表SCI论文320余篇,授权发明专利41项,入选科睿唯安“全球高被引科学家”和“全球前2%顶尖科学家”。以第一完成人获国家自然科学二等奖、全国创新争先奖、天津市自然科学特等奖和一等奖、吴阶平-保罗·杨森医学药学奖等重大奖项,带领团队跻身全球血液学研究先进行列。
